Domain Settings
Domain Name: This name appears across the GameCreate Breadcrumb bar and is a "friendly name" used to identify your domain.
Domain URL: The word used to create a GameCreate accessible link for this domain. The chosen word here will form a complete hyperlink, which may be used to access the GameCreate domain from any web browser.
Domain Alias: This field allows you to enter a fully qualified domain name (Example: admin.mydomain.com). Once this is defined here, adding a CNAME record to mydomain.com to bind admin.mydomain.com to your GameCreate domain's address (Example: mydomain.cc.gamecreate.com) will allow you to access the GameCreate admin panel from admin.mydomain.com
Domain Login: Login username used by all GameCreate hosts to login to the network. Also used by content creation tools to approve and distribute revision information.
Domain Password: Used above with the login username.
Custom Stylesheet: Fully qualified address (Example:
http://www.mysite.com/stylesheet.css) to use as the GameCreate stylesheet. Leave blank for the default. The current stylesheet is accessible from
http://world.gamecreate.com/stylesheets/stylesheet.css
This allows you to customize (or brand) the appearance of the GameCreate Interface. The only restriction we have is that the footer copyright information is left visible.
Time Zone: Timezone this domain operates under. All times shown on GameCreate, and logic which deals with times (such as temporary server creation) will be appropriate for the chosen time.
Visible: Whether this domain is visible on the overall GameCreate Domain list on the login screen.
Weekly Temporary Server Limit: How many temporary servers users may book per week. Users who have Full System access have no limit.
Temporary Reservation Period: Maximum amount of time in the future a user may book a temporary server for in advance.
Advanced Settings
Player Restriction: Instructs GameCreate to monitor the chosen servers for player number changes. GameCreate will automatically restart any server it finds where the amount of players in-game exceeds that defined on the servers Configuration tab.
Subdomain Packages: Permits the use of custom content packages in subdomains. When not permitted, subdomains may not override or define custom content, and will use the parent domain's settings as usual.
Server Properties
See Special Properties for more information on these settings.
