Important Its important to note that throughout the interface, GameCreate will always refer to dedicated game servers as servers, and the game server machines that host game servers as Hosts.
Browse hosts provides for the ability to navigate hosts which you've added to your domain. Each time the Game Create Client is run on a host machine using your username and password, that host will be automatically added to the available hosts to be used within the GameCreate system. The browse by host page is useful for planning deployment of new games on existing infrastructure, as it allows at a glance to see what servers are being run where.
In some instances the page is also usefull to navigate to specific servers, where you are aware of the server you wish to bring up and already have over 200 existing game servers and 100 hosts. The Left Hand Navigation (default off) provides the ability to navigate though the entire list of available hosts for each domain. All Right Click Menu options available to hosts are available both on the Left Hand Navigation and via the host list.
The Hosts tab has the following options that can be performed:
Hosts Overview - Manage specific hosts within your infrastructure
Add a New Host - Add your servers to the GameCreate environment
Remove an Existing Host - Remove redundent or decommissioned servers from the GameCreate environment
Permissions - Add or manage other users permissions to control your servers
